Westminster Cathedral

The home of Catholicism in England and Wales, Westminster Cathedral is also home to the Archbishop of Westminster. It was built between 1895 and 1903 and founded by Cardinal Vaughan, and contains incredible marble work and mosaics. In particular, the fourteen Stations of the Cross, sculpted by Eric Gill, is a sight to behold.

Regular services are held and attended by the nearby Westminster community and its grand – although incomplete – interior is a popular destination for tourists the world over. Westminster Cathedral is also the largest Roman Catholic Church in both England and Wales.
