The Cinema Museum

The Cinema Museum was opened in 1986 and tells the amazing story of cinema from its origins in the late 19th century, through to the present day. Film buffs will love the amazing collection of memorabilia, artefacts and rare equipment out on display, which includes classic posters and stills, cinema seats and signage, retro projectors and much more.

It is a true labour of love for the owners who have worked tirelessly over the years to preserve this treasure trove of cinematic pleasure. It can be found in the old Lambeth Workhouse, known to have been a place where Charlie Chaplin once worked, and is a must see for cinephiles and those who adore everything to do with films and the movie industry.
