Marble Hill House

Marble Hill House was built between 1724 and 1729, a beautiful Palladian villa designed by architect Richard Morris. It stands within 66 acres of parkland nearby to Richmond River and its design became the template for the Georgian English villa that typified many of the colonial houses that overlooked plantations in America.

The stunning interiors have been lovingly restored back to their original state and visitors have the pleasure of enjoying an amazing collection of early Georgian paintings. This is a perfect representation of Georgian life in 18th century England, and features truly unique handpainted Chinese wallpaper located in its exquisite dining parlour.
