Kensal Green Cemetery
Kensal Green Cemetery is one of London’s most established burial grounds, located in West London nearby to Kensington. 1833 saw it come into existence by creator, George Frederick Carden, and it features a canal and beautiful conservation areas, all set inside 72 acres, with a wide range of bird species who also happily call it their home.
From large mausoleums through to traditional headstones, the grounds have accepted many of the more famous local residents over the years, including a host of celebrities. There are four chapels found on the grounds, each one serving different faiths to cater for the range of visitors to the site.
