Fenton House

This 17th century merchant’s house is set behind a beautifully walled garden and features a wonderful collection of antique furniture, needlework pictures, instruments and a stunning array of European and oriental porcelain. The working garden is set alongside an eye-catching rose garden with a 300-year-old apple orchard standing proudly in its centre. You can also buy honey made fresh from the resident bee colony in the orchard.

Fenton House is one of the earliest houses built in Hampstead and hosts a number of lunchtime and evening concerts throughout the course of the year. Here you can take in the delicate sounds of a 17th and 18th century harpsicords and spinets, all of which come from the collection kept within the house itself.
