Design Museum

Since it was founded by Terence Conran in 1989, the Design Museum has pioneered exhibitions across product, graphic and architectural design. The iconic white building is a former 1940s banana warehouse, but more recently it has played host to Jonathan Ive in his pre-Apple days, Zaha Hadid’s first solo show and a retrospective of Conran himself in 2011. (The first floor Blue Print Café is one of Conran’s many restaurants, and has great views of the Thames.)
