Design Museum

Founded in 1989 by Sir Terence Conran, the Design Museum covers every aspect of design and architecture, also including the graphic and fashion industries. It has been located in its new Kensington location from 2016 and the main features of the museum’s permanent display can be found on the top-floor.

The first floor contains a resource library that is accessed by students, educators, designers, researchers and more. The ground floor is where visitors can find the many exhibitions that take place across the year, some of which require paid entry. The Design Museum is the only one solely devoted to architecture and design in the UK.

    A Decade Of Turbulence

    Until Sunday 12th August 2018

Hope to Nope: Graphics and Politics 2008-2018 looks back on a decade of change and upheaval. 2008's Arab Spring, Brexit and the 2016 US election are some of the key points examined through a host of protest placards, political posters and internet memes, and how messages of a political nature are constructed and used.
