Business Design Centre
The Business Design Centre is one of the oldest exhibition spaces in the UK dating back to its creation in 1862 as the Royal Agricultural Hall. It originally hosted the Royal Tournament which was the largest military pageant in the world at the time. It was used as the Parcels Depot after Mount Pleasant was destroyed during the WWII, and then left empty for quite some time until the Design Centre opened in 1986.
The glass design entrance gives the building its unique presence in the area and alongside its exhibition space is home to a number of businesses. A number of business and commerce related trade shows and exhibitions are held throughout the year, now established as key player in the event arena.
