Fashion and Textile Museum

Founded by the flamboyant British designer Zara Rhodes, this day-glow museum acts as a showcase for fashion, textile and jewellery design with a cutting edge bent. The collection holds thousands of Rhodes’ own designs, including those made with silkscreen and paper, alongside videos of her works. Meanwhile, the fantastic temporary shows explore hip creatives and often have a period-related theme. Aiming to foster the next generation of fashion, a range of courses for would-be students are also offered on the premises, while the shop is a great place to pick up a limited edition piece: as well as books and limited edition prints, there are tie-ins by new designers accompanying the latest exhibitions.
